Hardi Australia
Catalogue date: 1/Mar/2019
HARDI's RUBICON is the first 9,000 litre self-propelled sprayer in Australia. Hardi has released a cab it claims as the industry's best with all-round operator visibility as there are no rear quarter pillars to obstruct the view to the boom. “Operator comfort enhances productivity and is an essential for long spraying days” said Steve Lancaster, Self-Propelled Product Manager for HARDI Australia. “That's why SARITOR's new Panorama cab is large, more spacious and uncluttered, with top level ergonomics.” “The climate controlled, pressurised cab has active charcoal filtration that delivers high quality air that protects the operator from contaminants while spraying” Steve explained. “It is a quiet and stress-free relaxed environment, which is easy on conversations and mobile phone use.” Climate control air conditioning and cab pressurisation is delivered through 10 roof and two floor mounted, fully adjustable outlets. Tinted safety glass, front and side retractable sun screens filter the light and minimise glare into the cab. Windscreen de-mist vents ensure you will never have to experience fogged up windows. “An air-ride, fully adjustable operator's seat provides exceptional comfort for those rough paddock conditions. And the compact instructor's seat is large and comfortable. It can fold out of the way with ease” Steve said. “Both have compact storage facilities built into and under them.” The joystick and SprayCentre are attached to the operator's seat and moves in unison with it. The steering column pivots in two places and extends to provide adjustment for the most comfortable driving position. Turning indicators, driving lights, high/low beam and hazard light selection are all located on the steering column. “The HC 9600 touchscreen spray controller, an evolutionary progression from the very popular HC 9500, and the engine management display are ideally positioned in easy reach while driving” Steve said. The SprayCentre can be adjusted for operator comfort. Switches for the transmission, axles, fluid and boom functions are logically placed and grouped for easy fingertip operation. They are illuminated for night spraying. “Every detail contributes to the overall benefits and gains, making the Panorama cab a very special workplace” Steve concluded.
